Tyrese Gibson Goes To War With The Rock

As you may have got to know by now, the first spin-off in the Fast and Furious franchise has been given a 2019 release date on the calendar. And along with it, the theatrical launch of the ninth movie in the blockbuster franchise has been delayed. Fast and Furious 9 will reach theaters on April 20, 2020 and though Universal Pictures hasn’t given an official explanation yet, there may be a handful of reasons which made the studio push the release all the way to 2020.

Apparently, he believes that the sequel in the main saga was delayed to accommodate the spin-off which sees Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs teaming up with Jason Stat-ham's Packard Shaw. All attacks are directed at Dwayne Johnson and producer Hiram Garcia. Gibson adds that he and Ludacris were offered a chance to star in their very own Roman Pearce-Tej Parker spinoff – an opportunity which both actors politely declined to keep the family together.
